The Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an American all-weather, carrier-capable tactical airborne early warning aircraft. This twin-turboprop aircraft was designated and developed during the late 1950s and early 19060s. Since entering combat during the Vietnam War, the E-2 has served the US Navy around the world, acting as the electronic “eyes of the fleet”.

The Boeing E-3 Sentry aircraft is an airborne early warning and control (AWACS) developed by Boeing as the prime contractor. Derived from the Boeing 707, it provides all-weather surveillance, command, control and communications, and is used by the United States Air Force.
E-6A Mercury Wooden Model
The Boeing E-6A Mercury aircraft is an airborne command post and communications relay based on the Boeing 707-320. The original E-6A manufactured by Boeing’s defense division entered service with the United States Navy in July 1989, replacing the EC-130Q. It conveyed instructions from the National Command Authority to fleet ballistic missile submarines, a mission known as TACAMO. The E-6B model deployed in October 1998 kept this role, but added further command post capabilities and control of land-based missiles and nuclear-armed bombers. The E-6B replaced Air Force EC-135Cs in the Looking Glass role providing command and control of U.S. nuclear forces should ground-based control become inoperable.

It tracks ground vehicles and some aircraft, collects imagery and relays tactical pictures to ground and air theater commanders.

EC-130H Compass Call Wooden Model
Lockheed EC-130H Compass Call is an American airborne tactical weapon system using a heavily modified version of the C-130 Hercules airframe. It is based at Davis-Monthan AFB. The system attempts to disrupt enemy command and control communications and limits adversary coordination essential for enemy force management. Compass Call’s offensive counter information and electronic attack capabilities are used to support U.S. and allied tactical air, surface, and special operations forces. Programmed upgrades will give a secondary Electronic Attack (EA) capability against early warning and acquisition radars.

The principal mission of the EC-130Q Hercules is the TACAMO mission. The EC-130Q is similar to theC-130G aircraft. The EC-130Q can land and take off on short runways, and can operate from landing strips such as those found in advance base operations.

The aircraft, a modified WC-135B, flies observation flights over participating parties of the treaty. The aircraft is also used for electronic sensor research and development, satellite calibration and satellite date validation.
WC-130 Hurricane Hunters
The Lockheed WC-130 Hurricane Hunters is a high-wing, medium-range aircraft used in weather reconnaissance missions. The aircraft is a modified version of the C-130 transport configured with palletized weather instrumentation for penetration of tropical disturbances and storms, hurricanes and winter storms to obtain data on movement, size and intensity. The WC-130 is the weather data collection platform for the 53d Weather Reconnaissance Squadron.
